Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to own a horse to take riding lessons?
Yes. At this time, riders must own or lease a horse to take lessons with Equine Coach. Lessons are designed to develop your riding skills while strengthening the partnership between you and your horse.
What is included in your horse-training program?
- Riding five days per week
- Groundwork seven days per week to improve responsiveness, confidence, manners, communication, and preparation for ridden work
- Boarding and compassionate care, including twice-daily stall cleaning, quality hay,
- health monitoring, fans during summer, and
- prompt emergency communication
- Weekly video and progress updates
The horse-training program requires a minimum two-month commitment. Four follow-up lessons are also required and purchased separately to help the owner understand and continue the horse’s new skills.
Can you help with behavioral or communication problems with my horse?
Yes. Equine Coach helps horse owners address specific challenges, including:
